This is in fact an remake/adaptation of the Mel Gibson movie. Nothing sinister going on here; not a ripoff or copy. I have little to no memory of the original, and Gong Li is as beautiful as ever at 45 . I'll watch it for that. Thanks, uploader.

Excellent rip.
A pity there were no English subs to go along. No srts, no idx/subs, and certainly not embedded in the mkv container. Otherwise, this would have been excellent.
